Displays rate or coefficient of variation (CV) for spike trains of different units over multiple segments. Prints results to the console if only one value per unit is calculated or creates a plot otherwise. Parameters:

Statistic

Choose either rate or CV.

Gather over segments

Determines how many segments are grouped for each statistic calculation. If this is 1, the statistic for each segment is calculated separately. If it is larger than or equal to the number of selected segments, only one value over all selected segments is calculated.

Smooth result

If checked, the results are smoothed using a Hamming window before plotting.

Smoothing window width

The size of the window used for smoothing.
